Default Lost a fall turkey!!! :(

Watched as 10 or so flew up to roost and blasted one just as it took flight...
Dropped it across a large creek. Had to take a 20 min walk around to get to my bird, but once I got there.... nuthin!
Me and my buddy watched it drop but we just couldn't find it once we got around to where it was shot

Just venting.... We busted them off the roost REAL good, so we will be back in the morning for revenge.

If legal - take a dog as the dog will find it.

It is surprising how how well they can hide!

Not sure on the legality of HUNTING with my dog, but if I go back with no gun I know she'll sniff it out.

Well at least something got to eat it. I was feeling bummed about a pheasant I couldn't find, but I am sure some 'yotes made short work of it.
