HELLO,
Me and my good Friend Eric Paules were hunting york county last weekend when he blew his crow call and 7 or 8 birds lit up. We got on a bird and we began to call. The birds started moving into us. They got to about 75 yards and we were set up in good cover with thick brush behind us. That' s what the thunder hit and they lit up again. Then the rain followed and they stopped gobbling on the spot and apparently lost interest as they dissaperaed! Anyone have any idea of what might have caused them to shut up besides the rain? Me and Eric will be heading out tomorrow morning to the same spot to hopefully bag a spring tom.
