What loads are you using with your 20 guage?

i myself shoot a 12 ga 3" ....but my little brother uses a remmington 20 ga....we found that 3" # 5 federals shoot very well, he killed a tom at 25 yards deader than a doornail with those....also the 3" #6 winchester pattern really well...my cousin also shoots a remmington 20 gauge with #6 winchesters and he dropped a tom at 40 yards.

I use Winchester #6 in 3" for my 20 ga. they are = to a 2 3/4 12 ga.
they pateren great for my gun.taken several at 30 yards.
that is the max for 20 ga.

My wife' s Remington 20 gauge YS Model only shoots 2 3/4" shells, so she killed her tom w/ Remington Nitro 1 1/8 oz #4 at 15 yards. I see that you can get some 2 3/4" 20 gauge turkey loads at the Nitro site, so I' ll have to get her a box for next year, if we don' t get her a 3" 20 gauge. Even if we do get a 3" 20 gauge, I know any shell she shoots at turkeys from now on will have HeviShot in it. So will mine.

My daughter uses a rem 870 youth 20 gauge. Her combo like #6 3" federals.
