Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default wisconsin double

this was my 12 year old brothers first year out turkey hunting, he was in the blind with my dad the first wed. of our hunt...not 30 min went by when an old tom came strutting down the logging trail, he got to see a great show and then his 20 ga. did the trick..about 2 min later about 250 yards down the trail i called in a beautiful tom and he gave me a strut show before i took him at 40 yards....a 30 min season, can' t beat that...my brothers tom' s stats 23#,9.5 beard, 1.5" spurs
my tom' s stats 22# 10.5 beard, 1" spurs...not bad for a 12 year old kid...beginners luck i guess....but i' m very proud of him....my dad ended up shooting a jake...all on public land too.
