How many Bowhunt Turkeys here
I take the bow and blind turkey hunting now days. Really enjoy the excitement of shooting them with a bow. Last two years has been pretty good. Oklahoma season opens April 6th. Looks like we got lots of birds this year. Use the Double Bull blind. Buddy did the beard for me.
Here last year bird. Sorry about double picture. Not sure how that happened.
The old razarback five blades do some damge control. Gotta have a large cutting broadhead. Dont believe they even make these anymore. Break some bones and there down.
Scouted these birds a few weeks ago. MOstly Jakes.
Watched these two toms fight over hens. Love taking pictures from the blind. Turkey fight is awesome to watch. These bords fought for 20 minutes.

Yes, i started last year using a bow and a blind, i use the Ameristep outback, my dad shot a turkey from across the field from me to my side and one was running and i went ahead of it and shot it on the run, very exciting... nice bird you have there!

I've bow hunted them one full season and had a blast. I didn't get one that year but I shot one in the fall with my bow that same year. I have gun hunted ever since but would like to bow hunt them again. My dad still bow hunts them almost every year though.
