Default Loess Hills

Anybody hunt around the loess hills are in western iowa? Im thinking about heading down there for some spring turkey. I hear that there is lots of public land there.

Iv' e been to loess hills a couple times,there' s a good size chunk of state land that always holds some birds,but there' s a whole lot of land that is leased out by a guy named judd cooney a sports writer out of colorado.between his land and private land there are a huge number of birds!!I suppose hunters keep pushin them off state land but with a little luck I think you' ll have some good opportunities.
