Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Almost new gun.

Hey guys I really need some help here. I just purchased a winchester 1300 in 95% conditition. I got three chokes and the hard case too. The cost 170.00 dollars The problem is that when I got home I tried to remove the choke that was installed and I cannot get it to budge. Have I got a problem? I did not get a choke wrench with the shotgun. Thanks for any help.

Probably not as bad as you think. I' ve had them on pretty tight on my 1300, but get the wrench (any gunsmith/gun shop should have or be able to get you one) and it' ll pop off.

who knows it may or maynot be a problem. hopefully it is not cross threaded. i' ve also come across a case where if the gun is shot alot and the choke has not been removed frequently the choke actually tightens in the gun. But most likely just get yourself a choke tube wrench and it will probably come right out. I also own a Winchester 1300, mine is the Black Shadow with the 22" barrel, I love mine a great gun, got to love the rotary bolt feature. almost makes the gun like a cross between a pump and a semi-auto.
