Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Woodhaven Turkey Calls

I was wondering everyones opinion on Woodhaven calls? Any opinions on whether to get slate or glass? They seem to be great calls but I would like to see what everyone else thinks

Before you make your final decision, let me send you a sound file of a glass call i recently purchased. Best call i have ever played, and i have played them all. Good luck to you this spring.

From what I`ve heard WoodHaven makes good calls, better because I got a slate coming. Gobblenutt, let us in who makes this call? Whats it called ? And how do we get one?

Turkman, the call is named Pure Death in the wood pot and is made by Steve Reeves of Supreme Turkey Calls. I have been buying calls from Steve since ' 99 and have yet to be dissappointed. I' ll post a link to his website here, and i' ll send you a sound file of me playing the call. It may take a little while to download, but i think you' ll agree it will be worth it.

If it' s not much trouble, you mind sending me that clip? Custom calls are my weakness.

I tried to contact Steve Reeves last year and never heard back from him. Maybe I can reach him through that website. Thanks.

Sure, i' ll get it right off to you. Be patient with the download time. I think it' s around 4 minutes with a modem. I know Steve does a good bit of out of state turkey hunting around this time.
