Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Saturdays TNN Turkey Call

Anybody catch Saturdays show? I lost count of the number of birds that came off
the roost and landed in front of these guys. []
I am also wondering what kind of guns these guys shoot. It looked like that turkey he shot was 60 yards out.
What is the most turkeys you have had in front of you at one time and what was
your farthest shot? Ive had 5 gobblers and 11 hens at one time and my farthest shot was a gobbler taken at 55 yards. (I thought he was 40 yards out at the time or I never would have shot.) Luckily a couple of pellets hit their mark.

Yeah, I saw it. Got ME pretty excited! LOL.

Don' t know what the range was. The camera probably makes things look further away.

I' m sure it was the camera. Those guys that hunt those private ranchs dont have to shoot that far to get a bird.

Good thing he was careful. If not, he coulda got his season limit right there.
If I was there, I mighta been so wrapped up watching them that I' da forgot to shoot.

It was a great sight. I called my kids over to give them a lesson on checking your backdrop before pulling the trigger. That hunter really had to pick just the right time to shoot or he would have hit 4-5.
