Im lookin at these 2 shotguns and having a hard time choosing one. I like both and will likely get the other before turkey season. I have pros and cons for both guns. I know they have completely different actions and either is fine for me.
Can I have some suggestions from those wih experience with these guns?? Thanks.
I have been comparing both guns at a local shop, The 2000 does have a better feel to it for me. I do like the 3.5 but dont really need it. Im mainly gonna use it for turkeys but also for dove season just to get comfy with it, a lil duck hunting just woodies here in flooded timber, nothing major.and maybe some deer with slugs inside 40yds.
Holding it and the SBE2 are so simular. I could afford the SBE2 but just cant spend that much on a single gun!
I own two STOEGER's.... a camo 2000 and a just purchased 350 predator/turkey...for the money, BOTH are hard to beat..they are identical to the Benelli's in everyway that I can see, except price !! I'm not sure if they are made by Benelli but they act the same in my hands at a fraction of the cost.. The 350 has a pistol grip and is a 3.5 inch and is sweet, and for $299.00 it's hard hard to beat. I'm not sure many have even seen this version, I'll post some pictures when I home. FOR THE MONEY, you'd be hard pressed to beat either by anything. My son shot a truck full of waterfowl last season with steel shot and the 2000, he never had a single problem with it functioning... MONEY well spent, and they always say..would you buy another...without question !!!
Here's a pictuire of the new predator/turkey 3.5 350 Stoeger..for $299.00 ..can't beat it !!
he said hes going to be doing a little waterfowl hunting with it too, so that one wont work
i have a 2000, i love it. i actually like it more than my dads semi auto benelli. the model 2000 has the same intertia system as a semi auto benelli, but for about half the price
go with the stoeger, you wont be disapointed
GOT it at Grice Gun Shoppe in Clearfield PA..it also came with the other stock if you want to put it on...it shoots straight as an arrow..and it actually shoots flat..the top of the pattern is the top of the bead...I actually prefer to seethe head above the bead but that's what this one does on paper...
