Default peach ridge longbird down

10 inch beard,1 1/4 spurs, 24 pounds

On the evening of April 30, i was just coming in from the garage when on the ridge in front of my house light up with all kinds of gobbles. I Went in grabbed the primos piggy back and call from my porch. I was happy when i got two different responses on the ridge after guessing where both turkey's were i set the alarm for 4:30 the next morning. After climbing up the ridge and settling in it began to break day light. No turkey's were gobbling on roost, so about 6:00 i decided to give out a fly down cackle, And a big tom gobble back in response. He sounded like he was down in the field where i didnt want him to be, so i decided to move which turned out to be a bad thing i started walking down the ridge when i heard a few alarm putts and my gobbler fly off. I was so mad i just sat down and thought what an idiot i was.i figured it wouldnt hurtto call to see if there were any other gobblers in range.Just then another gobbler gobbled he was about 100 yards off so i called again and he wouldnt come closer. thats when i decided to move close and call. He would gobble 3 or 4 times but wouldnt come out of his "strut zone" i moved 3 more times which some would say isnta good ideato do you should move away but the last time i was within 40 yards. I called he gobbled, and then gobbled again but still wouldnt come out of his line. Thats when i shout upfor about 5 minutes and that got the best of the big tom he came struting in amd when hegot to 30 yards i gave two alarm putts and layed the smack down with the 3 1/2
