Default Really A Dead Day

Today I went out wth my friend Rich, and today was the the first time that we didn't hear a gobbler at all. I called a two other friends up on the cell phone after we hunted, and they too also said not one gobbler at all. I have no idea whta kept them quiet today, it was somewhat chilly this morning, and we did get alot of rain yesterday. Well see what tomorrow brings us

Must have been one of those days. I went out this morning and for the first time this season didnt hear or see a thing. We also had some major rain the past 2 days. Im going out Sat for my last Spring hunt to try for my 3rd bird.

Really dead season... 3 days out of 6 I had birds gobbling on the roost, the other 3 didn't hear a peep all morning. Yesterday I had one gobbling his head off, but he quickly disappeared after fly down. Anybody have a good recipe for tag soup?
