Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default 2008 MO Bird

I got this guy opening day, the pictures were on a phone though, so they took a while to get. opening day morning set up where i saw this guy and another bird struting a few days before. I was working a bird on the roost about 75 yds to my left. when this guy an another his buddy flew down at about 125 yds in my field. I worked them slowly in but a real hen came into my setup and brought them closer real fast. i bagged him at 33 yds and it was only 6:50 in the morning. he weight 23 lbs, 13 inch beard, and 1 1/8 spurs.

what part of MO are you in? My sister and brother-in-law just moved there from Germany(Air Force), and he is a avid hunter. what type of turkeys do you have? Easterns or Rios?
