Default there gobbling!!!

went sunday morning to check my hog trap,went at first light so I could listen for a bird.
Heard two gobble one time each.
checked and had 9 hogs in the trap,sasague and ribs.[8D]

Man that would sound good, Its suppose to get down in the single digits here tonight and a chance of snow for the next 3 days, I hope it does some serious warming up here before long, Our season opens 8 weeks from today, can' t hardly wait.

I' m glad to see someone is hearing them. Boy do I have cabin fever, i' m ready to get out scouting.....as soon as some of this damn snow melts. Heard my 1st bird here in PA last yr the 1st week of March, don' t lok like i' m gonna better that date this year with all this snow.[:' (]

You' re not too far from me. I havent heard any gobble yet but give it another week or so. Saw two gobblers Sunday. Both were still in their fall areas. The hens were all up near dryer land near their nesting areas. Man am i pumped up.

BT only what 8 more weeks left!! This weather were having today better stay sunnytill saturday. It will make a good day to get into the woods.

I usually wait unti around the last week in march to go listen and scout due to the fact that i have to drive 2.5 hours to my stomping grounds
