Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Last week I had a gobbler in Kansas that hung up out of range in a field I put my decoy on my head and as able to crawl into shot gun range the bird saw the decoy and started toward me I putted and shot him at 20 yards .

wow if you are serious that you did this.. this is actually a good idea--if your goal is to be shot... otherwise this is the dumbest thing i have heard since that guy shot his son.. dont put any sort of turkey on your head and crawl anywhere.. yes it may have gotten you a bird this time, but next time it might get you six feet under.

I think he may rubbing it in that he got one and you didn't. I hope I'm wrong. Very childish if I'm not. To answer the initial question, no I haven't tried that, and probably never will. I think the consensus will answer the same.
