any 1 else shoot my setup with hevishot 13? heard of it?

remington 870 express super magnum, 3.5 inch.

Shawn, my friend Rich has the same shotgun, but uses the Remington Super Full Turkey choke, Winchester Supremes High Velocity, 3.5", 2oz., #5, he took a bird at 50 yards 2 weeks ago

30 bucks for 5 shells? Yikes that's steep...for that kinda money they better be laser guided, heat seeking turkey shells!

choke might be slightly tight for hevi shot...

is that choke approved for hevishot??

forget what the ID of my undertaker hevishot tube is...i wanna say .675...i know it needs a sligggghtly more open choke than lead does...

if its safe, pattern it and see how it does...if it dont do well goto a slightly more open choke...my undertaker hevishot tube does well for me...throws ALOT nicer patterns than the remington choke did....alot more consistant and better density...hevishot won but it wasnt by much....but, it does hit harder....

yeah all im looking for is to be tighter at 40 yds. cuz my remington loads were pretty scattered at 40, even with the .660

ill try it and post some pics or something.

Hevi-13 is the cats meow! A .660 choke, that is rated for Hevi shot, will throw some mind blowing patterns. I shoot Nitros, which is Hevi Shot, through a .660 choke and 30 to 50 yards is in it's wheelhouse as far as killing goes. You didn't waste any money on Hevi-13. You'll probably wish you'd have bought a few more boxes when you see how they shoot.
