Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default highback vs. bucklick creek lounger

i hate to beat a dead horse here, but does anyone have experience comparing these two sidebyside. i have taken into consideration that these seem to be the best vests made and i am planning on purchasing one of the two. my only debate is whether to spend the addition $20 for the highback or go with the less expensive one. do they both have the internal frame system for the drop down stadium seat? thanks

Don`t have any experience with the regular but just bought the highback. Most comfortable vest I`ve ever worn.

Squidkid,

FYI, Bucklick Creek makes both vests.

hey PA?
i know that bucklick creek makes both of these vests. taking into account the numerous positive postings about the higback(many from you), i will be buying one of the two models. it sounds as if these are the cadilac of vests. i am just looking for a little more info on the less expensive vest. heck, i would be happy with some input from someone that just tried one on in the store......thanks

T o aswer your question the high back model has more back support, with mine I could sit all day even without a tree to lean against. Is it worth the extra $20, in my opinion Yes. Hopefully that extra comfort will translate into sitting still an extra 10 minutes. How many silent birds busted you because you couldn`t sit still any longer and moved?

I have the highback. My cousin tried on the regular the other day. It didn' t seem to have the pockets and the obvious extra back support.

Go ahead and spend the extra $20. You won' t miss it at all by next year and will be glad you spent it.

I just got the Cabela' s stadium seat vest that has the same seat style as the Bucklick vests. It is far superior because of the great pocket structure and almost all the pockets have a waterproof liner.

I really like my Bucklick Creek highback. Allowed me to sit for a couple of hours with no problem. Comfy enough to sit in the floor and watch TV from it.
