Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Scored again!

Day 2 of our hunting up with River City Outfitters. We had a great looking spot scouted out yesterday evening with quite a few gobblers, we went in today and setup early with our Double Bull Blinds and put out 2 Hardcore hen decoys and the Renzo Strutter silouette. First thing in the morning we have 3 banging off in the woods to our front left about 250 yds. We had a lone hen come in about 70 yds. out and walk up and down the dirt lane coming in and dusting up a storm, made for some great footage! Finally alittle later we had another hen come from the woods and cross the large ditch and come right into our decoys, she was within 10 yards for about 5-10 min. just content and purring!! Back out about 250 yds in the field on the other side of the ditch were 4 strutters, 1 was a big boss gobbler. They hung up over there forever!! Finally with the hen hanging out for so long in front of us, the boss gobbler decided to come in. He slowly worked his way towards us, then went down and crossed the ditch and appeared ahead of us about 70 yds. From there he slowly strutted his way in to about 15 yds. right out front, he was spitting and druming the whole way!! Finally I gave Paul the green light and he blew that thing away!!!! Awesome video!!!! Paul's bird was 24 1/2 lbs. , 10" beard, 3/4" spurs. This was by far one of the best turkey hunts and videoing I've ever been apart of!!!! Fun Fun morning!! From there we almost had the other strutters come in, but they worked back into the woods well out of range, and then we had 3 other gobblers behind us that wanted to work in, but we had an old overgrown fence and fence row that blocked them, and they lost interest! Almost was one for the record books!! Anyway, great hunt, lots of fun, and we got some phenomenal footage! Here's the pics...
Again we were out with Kevin Smith and River City Outfitters
