Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

This is the kind of crap I get to put up with.... "Partly to mostly cloudy. High of 56F. Winds NW at 20-30mph Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph." Yeah, what else is new.
You want to hunt some tough conditions.... come on out to where its so windy you can't hear the birds, and they can't hear you... Your deeks head for Dorothy, and you could die of hail damage.

hey king,
I have lived in Kan./Neb. most all of my life. The way that I look at it is if you can put meat on the table in these kind of conditions, thats what seperates the men from the boys!!

I was was in Coffey county Wednesday, Thursday and left at about 11:00 Friday morning to go back to Arkansas. I was hunting with 2 friends and Iwas the only one whodid manage to harvest 1 tom. I got him after I got hailed on, rained on and it seemed like 100 mph winds tried to blow me away on Thursday evening. We seen plenty of toms and we usually get our limit but the turkeys just did not seem to be fired up yet and I can't blame them with weather like that.
