i have only been turkey hunting a couple of times. here in georgia we only have a spring turkey season and i have only called for a parter agood manytimes with himtakin a few gobs on private land. i always got the thrill of the chase and the huntinstead of thekilling itself. this year i want to get one for me but the only place i have to hunt now is fort stewart, ga. i know it is risky bein on public land but any hints? i know two places where the gobblers are but if i set up an hour before sunrise, im sure i will walk within distance of another hunter who got set up 10 min before i got there and gets mad at me(im very respectful and try to avoid intruding). most people i talk to out there (before and after hunts i talk to people i see to gain some friends and maybe some info) are good people but there are some crazys and setups are always an issue. should i set up decoys trying to call them in even though most of the area is hardwoods and bottomlands, or should i sneak in and cut them off on the way to water. ive also called some in during deer season just messin around with nothin to do so if i go afternoon and dont piss anyone off, should i wait in fields where they will meet up or try to get a lonely gob who didnt get lucky
