Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Field care tips anyone?

I just read JW!'s post above about how he cares for his birds after the hunt, very good post JW. I have heard of people gutting the bird afield and letting it hang for a couple days as long as temperature permits, letting the meat age (like a deer). Does anyone do this? Im seeking some tips, methods on field care after the shot. thanks.

Never heard of letting the meat age like a deer. Typically, most people I know deep fry it that night.

All I do is keep out of the sun - keep it cool - clean the bird that day.
