I live about 12 miles north of the ark. line and they are tearing it up here. But with the rain and flooding they might just shut down, hopefully not our youth season starts saturday.

They're about gobbled out down in the southern part of the state. I hear they've started hammering pretty good up north, though.

Thanks for the update. I will be hunting in the west central part of the state. In years past season started on April 1st. It's starting about two weeks later this year.

The last couple of seasons have started too late for most of the state----where you're headed included. I hunted the Ouachitas for the last 10 years. When they changed the hunt dates, our success diminished drastically. This year, I'm headed to the Ozarks for that very reason.
