This is my first year on a spring turkey hunt. For that matter first year hunting turkeys. I have a couple questions. I' ll be hunting corn farm/woods combination.I have the camo. What about calls for someone inexperienced in turkey calling? What other gear do I need?

First, welcome to the sport. If you are like the rest of us it won' t take much to get hooked and you are in for life. I could give you a long list of what you need and I would forget half of it and there are guys on this board who can give you all the info you want and more. My suggestion is to spend a few bucks and buy " So You Want to be a Turkey Hunter" by Hunter Specialities. It has a lot of very good info and, once you get by the sales part, really provides some very good info for someone new to the sport. After you look over the video a few times come back with any specifics you don' t understand you you will get plenty of help.
