the lower rear corner where the bolt goes through is at your trigger finger. My first shot made a blood blister and my second shot splattered blood. Has anyone else used one of these mounts?

I' m assuming that you are talking about the saddle type scope mounts.
I have a Millet on my 870 and never had such problems.

I' ve got one and never had a problem with it. I did however, just put it on my 1187 and when I went to open the action got my finger caught on the edge of the mount bracket. Didn' t draw blood but it sure did hurt[:@]

turkey7, what kind of gun do you have that b square on because I think it mounts different on different guns. I had one on a beretta al 390 and liked it but I put one on my new gun didn' t like it at all so I had it drilled and tapped.

Its on an 870. the corner of the mount and the bolt slam aganst your trigger finger every time you shoot. I grinded it down so it don' t draw blood but it still hurts the finger. I' ll have to use it this season.

I used to have that problem with the mount on my Mossberg 500. This was because the mount was on the left side of the gun and I shoot left handed. When I shot the bolt would gash the base of my trigger finger . I glued a Peice of rubber tubing over the bolt head and havent had a problem since.
Im not sure if this is the same mount you are talking about.

I have 3 or 4 turkey guns with B-Square and Millet " saddle" mounts on them.

Never had a problem with any of them...
