Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Kansas turkeys?

Are the turkeys in Kansas getting fired up and gobbling yet? I hunted there last year at the season opening week for gun season and it was cold and rainy, tough hunting. I will be going again this season and hunting in unit 2 around Coffee county. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Supposedly, they've been tearing up the earth around Stafford, KS. Buddy said they've been gobbling so much he doesn't know where to start once season comes in. I'll be in Moline, KS next week. Good luck bud.

The Turkeys here in Butler county are pretty fired up, I went East to Greenwood and didn't hear too much around toronta and fall river, and those are hot spots too...
I would expect them to be pretty good though.
Drop me a line when your around and I'll get you a cold beer or something.

last weekend they stayed grouped up hard for the most part, all gobbling hard and yelping a lot. i did see one hen leave the group and set down, and a few old toms stray away from the group. by next week we will see a huge split of these bigger groups down to 2's - 6's.
