Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Turkey Decoys??

I thought I had posted this earlier but apparently it didn't take. Please see my questions below.

I am in the market for a Hen/Jake Decoy. I have never bought any decoys so I can't say what I like. What do you guys recommend rubber or foam? I would like something that I can fold up in a vest. I would also like something that will hold its form. This seems to be a problem with some. I found a rubber Hen/Jake set at Wal-mart that actually looked pretty good. They were made by Camo Ridge. Anybody heard of these or used them? I can't find anything about them on the internet. They kind of look like the Jake/Hen (Courting Couple) by Red Head sold at Bass Pro. I would like to hear from you and see what you like or recommend.

Thanks

IF I HAD TO BUY DECOYS OVER AGAIN -
I would just purchase a Bobble-head hen and leave it at that.

is a plastic - not foam type decoy.

next choice would be my carry-lite rubber decoys - tho I don't like the jake. When I look at decoys I go after realism - some look no better than flamingo lawn ornaments.

Do think you are farther ahead with just a hen..

The Flambeau master series Jake with a Turkey-Skinz cover would be the best lookin' Jake you could find. It could also be packed easily in a turkey vest.
