One of my best friends is a die hard turkey caller and the best I've meant..He's a member here but rarely comes on..
Heloves Cody.Calls.
He influenced me to turkey hunt..
My best is Primos "The Freak"
here's my friend..He's known oin here as Strut..
Strut bags his limit every year...he's flat out good..
Here is Strut and his wife..
If I had to pick one it would be the knight and hale ole yeller. I use a rosewood striker and a power tip striker. I have called in plenty of birds, love the sound.

I think my favorite call is the Lohman "Thunderdome". In my opinion, this call creates the best sounding yelp by far. It makes good sounding cutts, but the yelps it makes are one of a kind. Plus, you dont have to put a whole lot of pressure down to get a good sound out of it.

I use an Ol Yeller, or a slay tek....
I guess it depends on the birds as well, the different subspecies and ages of your hens, birds do sound different from one area to the next.

I like the Cody calls. If you cant swallow the heavy price, the best sounding production call in my opinion has been the Primos "jackpot" and "jackpot slate". They are both very sweet and smooth sounding.
