I got drawn for a MN tag. Now I' m starting to get lathered just thinking about it!!!!!

JUST WONDERING HOW YOU FOUND OUT SO SOON ON DRAWING A TAG IN MINNESOTA? THE DNR IS SUPPOSED TO POST THEM BY NOON TODAY, AND HAVE NOT YET, AND THE MAIL DID NOT COME YESTERDAY DUE TO PRESIDENTS DAY. JUST WONDERING, I HOPE I GET A TAG TOO!!! GOOD LUCK!

I was just reading where you other MN hunters are from. Do you hunt in southern MN or are there birds up your way? I live in Rochester and have lots of birds around here.

I' ll be hunting zone 249 up here by Brainerd. This is the first year that this zone is open to hunt. There are only 10 tags for each time period, so there are not that many birds yet.Have hunted in zone 425 over by Granite Falls the last few years with good results,but want to give a try closer to my home. Have already been out do some scouting and have the general areas the birds are using now.

I hunt in central MN around the St. Cloud area(when I get drawn). It' s 15 permits per season here.

I' ve still got my Black Hills Hunt in Late April.

I got a tag for area 442 around St. Peter. Lots and lots of turkeys around here, I' ve got 4 birds in 5 years. This year I' m trying the bow.
