Default what's your opinion ?

turkey season here in indiana starts in 24 days.the problem is,thats about the time food plots need to be planted. my buddy has 75 acres [1/3 open areas] and we are going to
put out 3-4 acres of plots [alfalfa/clover,corn,soybeans and sunflowers]. if it doesn't rain tomorrow i am spraying to kill grass and we will disk and plant by next weekend.there is still danger of frost but i don't think we should wait. that gives us 2 weeks for things to settle down. we should be done in one day[i hope !]

DO YOU THINK WE ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING ?

What Maytomsaid about manure - I have seen many times - we call it a Hot Lunch program.

Now I know of farmers that disc fields - a day later all is well.

I am also from IN, and have seen farmers spraying a field one day and turkeys in it the very next. Should not hurt a thing.
