I think he mike tyson'd him. At my farm I had some jakes running around, and a jake was breeding a hen. I let my big 30# breeder tom out, he completely blind sided him, right in the head, we ate the jake for thanksgiving. I have been wing slapped by turkeys many times. If they get you in the face you will have a black eye, and a get bloody nose. They are powerful birds. I have never been spured by a turkey though.
