Default scouting

Went out on a scouting trip to the area I drew a my turkey tag. I seen 7 jakes and 7 toms and about 25 hens all in the same area, the jakes and toms was in there own flock trailing the hens about fifty yards or so. I came home and started to practice the callen, Im not going to make it to the hunt, my wife will kill me first, the more I practice my calling the louder her sterio gets, you would have thought the roses she got on valentines would have held her over for a month or so, " Wrong" they just DON' T understand, just thought I would share my excitment. shed horn

guys if you get them into turkey hunting with you, there is no limit to the new guns, calls, and camo you can buy.
Besides that they will set off to the side and say,a little more raspy,or cut a little harder.my best cregidit(SP)the one that tells me whats wrong;is my hunting partner and wife.

I can' t even get off to the camo dept. now without her wanting to buy new stuff;and when she gets it I also get it.[&:].

that is one way we find one another in the super center, one of us will call with our mouth and the other will answer.besides that you should see the people get away from us when we start calling.we have the isles to ourslef.[:-]

My wife thinks I am insane for getting out of a warm bed at 4 a.m. just to go sit in the cold, dark, damp woods just to hunt some old bird. Boy, some people just don' t get it! But, she don' t ever give me any static when I want to go scouting or hunting and she' s OK with me taking 2 weeks of my vacation hunting turkeys every spring. Hey, I guess she' s not all bad after all.....I guess I' ll keep her!

My lovely supports my hunting and she has been out a few times her self, she had a bad rifle hunt a few years ago, had a nice big 3 pointer or 6 for you back east standing in front of her, well yhe 270 cal. was abit much and she took the scope and to the E R we went with the buck and 9 stitchs later we made it home, she then decided that she was not made for hunten but she supports me.
