Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default H.S. Undertaker Vs. Primos tightwad

My birthday is next week, and I'm asking for a turkey choke and narrowed it down to these mainly because of price. I know the undertakers are really good, but does anyone have any experience with the tightwad? I can get the undertaker at bass pro for $20, but I can get the primos tightwad for $20, and it comes with their turkey hunting dvd and paper targets. What do you guys think?

No one can answer this for me? I guess I will buy them both and take one back after I shoot them.

Never used the tightwad. I do use the Jellyhead and really like it. I have taken several birds with an undertaker, but the Jellyhead patterns better.

I use an Undertaker in my Mossberg 500 20 ga and for the price...does well. I wanted something better than a factory choke but not alot of money, and the Undertaker falls in that category.

I have the undertaker on my Moss 500 and it's ok, not great but I can put 30 pellets (5's)on a 9" paper plate at 40yds and I don't want to shoot them farther away. Mine is for lead only, check if you can use hevi-shot in yours, (not that it matters a lot, having a lead only choke saves me money since I'm not tempted to buy expensive shells)

This will be my 5th year using the Undertaker. I use it with my Mossberg835 ultra-mag. It patterns well for the price.

I shoot the undertaker in my 870 supermag and it does great with the Win. Supreme 5's. I shot a frederal Flight contrl through it today and it didn't pattern worth a damn.

UNDERTAKER 100%-- with 12 ga.3"Winchester Supreme #5's Dropped lots of birds 50+ yds with it!never had a miss with it!!
Before i switched to H.S. STRUT Undertaker.i had unbelievable misses and dissapointments. a while back at a hunting shop i saw the undertaker and bought it and it is the best of the best!! a standard for turkey hunting.no one should shoot turkeys unless they are shooting through an undertaker...
lol thats how i feel about it.
