Default North East area

Its way to early for the turkeys to be strutting right? Today in 2 diffrent spots there were birds strutting, 4 birds in all.I find this really weird.

I am in New York and last week I had 7 toms and 10 jakes in the back lawn and 2 toms were in full strut. I also made a gobble from my mouth and they returned the gobble back to me. I thought it was early also.
