Default Do they do this all year?

OK, so driving on the Interstate the other day and went by a flock of turkeys in a field with one tom sitting there strutting. We got snow, and the high temp yest was like 18. So my question is...is that normal or is this just one really horny tom?

We see turkeys every day of the year and they will strutt and gobble all year long here . Not as much as they do in mating season ,but just about anytime you get a flock of toms around some hens .

Yep,they will definately display all year!Turkeys, when excited by the desire to breed, fighting(dominance),and even playing will show there mood by often times displaying in full strut, often times accompanied by some gobbling,at anytime of the year!!But with that said, as the days lengthen and become warmer ole gobblers feathers begin to rise more at this upcoming time of year than any!Come on spring!!!!
