Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Couple more pictures from this morning...

I went out again this morning and the turkeys were going absolute bonkers. My friend and me sat in the truck for close to an hour and I'd be willing to bet that we heard 200 gobbles. There were 4 mature toms and 4 jakes that only thought they were mature.

Sorry this picture is really blurry. I sure hope those young jakes turned their heads when this was going on!

This is the one that I've named "big boy" for obvious reasons. Opening day can't come fast enough. Now if he'll just hang around for a while.

Here's another shot of "big boy". I can tell him from the rest of the gobblers because he has a very distinct white patch on his right wing.

We were probably 200 yards from their roost and after they flew down they came to within 70 yards as a group. The one tomwas within30 yards of uswhen I took the picture. I've heard more spitting and drumming that I could possibly count this morning. This whole morning, just listening to the various sounds of the hens and toms in their natural setting, going about their business, was the best learning experience that I've ever had.
