Default saw three yesterday!

yesterday I went to the hunting area to squirrel hunt a little.I didn' t see any squirrels so I sat down near a blind to watch. I heard a turkey yelp,so I sat still and pulled a branch in front of me.
for the next hr. I saw around 20 birds. three gobblers came by within 15 yards.

I know where I will be in about 6 weeks.[8D]

didn' t shoot any squirrels but had a great day.just sitting and watching those gobblers was well worth the trip.

Saw a flock of turkey sitting in a field along the interstate. Mostly hens (of course) but one freaking TOM sitting in the middle...in full freaking strut! We got 3 months til our first week opens!!

Lucky, luck, lucky...I' m headed that way in a month. I have a sister-in-law who grew up somewheres south of Perry. Hoping to have a similar close encounter.
Good luck to you this Spring.
