Default Some pictures I took scouting today...

I went ona snooping mission again today and it didn't disappoint! It seems that everytime I go I see more and more birds, which is a good problem to have I suppose! Anyway, I took these in my truck and I guess I was 150 yards away when the show started. There were5 toms and 2 or 3 jakes in fromt of me along with several hens. Here goes:

The start of the show:

See anything strange here?:

Trust me, I can't wait! NJ's season doesn't open until the second week of April. The wait is killing me![:@]

I went scouting this morning, saw 6 toms out in my rye field. That really gets me pumped.

Awesome to see that color phase.
In Michigan last year we had a jake that had almost all white wing feathers and some white tail feathers too. I'll be there again on the 24th of April!!! Hope he stayed in the area.
