At my place they start gobbling about mid to late march. I have not heard on yet. But my friend had them gobbling at his place down the rd. I live in Southern Michigan
They haven't been gobbling at all on my land. I know they are there, I've seen them. I don't know what the problem is. It may be the unusually cold weather we have been having, I don't know.They normally start gobbling in Feb. down here.
No gobbles in central Illinois yet. Warmer weather is on the way so maybe that will cause the toms to get more active. Hard to keep from getting too anxious for gobbles and season opener.

I just did a little calling at my place today and the gobblers were HAMMERIN!!!!!!!!!! I had 4 at one spot gobblin their little "JELLY HEADS" off and 3 in another spot! It was awesome!!!!!
I heard a gobble today as a matter of fact. I never did see him, but he gobbled...
