Does anyone know if the pretty boy decoys fold up small to put in your vest or do you have to carry them in a seperat bag?

molded plastic, they dont break down and fold up...they come with a mesh carrying bag..Very easy to carry, light, and practically no setup because it keeps its shape...Take it out of bag, stick stake in ground, place on stake....go sit down and kill a gobbler.

no worse than carrying a bag of decoys in to hunt duck hunt green timber. or hauling a climber in to deer hunt. actually its much lighter than both.

If you looking to buy it for everyday hunting, then maybe it's not a good idea. However, if you're looking for a decoy to have some fun with and work a gobbler that's been taking ya to school, you can't beat the pretty boy. The mess bag that came with that has shoulder straps, so carrying it in isn't that big of deal. Like NS wrote, I've carryied in more and heavier things deer hunting and what little goose hunting I've done.

Im trying to work out a youth hunt here in KY....if i do, that thing is soo light i wouldnt hesitate a bit to makea 6 year old carry it in. Heck Id ratherhave that thing on my back than a camera/tripod setup or gun in myhand. I already told my buddy I have dibs on the pretty boyon the walks in!

Its notlike you carry it anduse it on every hunteither....I hunted6 weekends last year, and alot throughout the weeks for KY season last year, I used the pretty boy on 5 hunts i think. Great late and early season deke. Never tried it mid season but would probably work then as well.

These dekes all depend on the gobblers current mood....You can set it up and have a gobbler in sight of it without paying it any attention.....and an hour later re setup on the same bird and he come a runnin like a coyote is after him. I know because this happened to me the last day of season last year. My buddy got a 20 lb 9" beard and 1.25" hooks out of that ordeal. I was more exicted than he was, and all I did was film and call.

They can be the least appealing deke setup ever, only to turn into gold 45 minutes later....Its hit or miss, and it ALL depends on the gobbler.

The pretty boy is a good decoy but it is a bit difficult to carry. Not heavy or anything just awkward. I prefered the b mobile, folds up and looks just as good as the pretty boy IMO.
