Default Wis turkeys???

Have not seen any turkeys besides, the 12 monster big toms that have been coming to my parents feeder all winter, no tracks, no turkeys along the road side, nothing but the well fed bearded dozen

With all this snow, I'm sure it's hard for them to get around. Unless the deer have pawed through the snow, they can't dig down out in the fields. I friend from Point swares he saw evidence of some eating buds off a popple like grouse.

i live in amherst and work 3rd shiftin point. i would see a flock of 20-30 every morning on the way home from work. i haven't seen them in weeks. i'm kind of curious to see how a nasty winter will affect the turkeys this year. we haven't had a winter like this in years. especially with coyote population on the rise.

I've seen tons of turkeys. Usually they're flocks of hens though. they are always turkeys in the fields where farmers spread manure. I've seen a big flock of hens around me all winter.
