i have to wait 3 months to go turkey hunting. I hate this time of year, I have a new shotgun and really just want to shoot a huge tom with it....I don't know if i'll make it another three months, i have an itchy trigger finger. Anyone else bored as hell? I have already sighted the shotgun in.. i'm ready to go....Damn winter [:@]

Yea it seems like the time between christmas and tukey season takes forever. Then when the season is finally here it is over way to quick.

That's what makes it special for me. Spring is the new beginning. Everything starting over, new life, finally warmth again, then that first Gobble. It's worth the wait.

I'm laid up right now so it's really bad for me. I've only been out of the house a handful of times since mid december. And most of those have been to go to the doctor or MRI's.

If I can hunt this season it will be special. I can hardly stand or walk right now.

I hear that. This is the worst time of year, between the end of January and March 15. No ducks, no turkey, no deer... I pass the time by rabbit hunting, sometimes squirrel hunting, predator hunting, shed hunting, but mostly shooting clays. I'm an original Tom Knapp with clays this time of year. So why doIhave a harder time downing ducks?

Same here.

I have a new Benelli M2, and a new bow (new to me) and still have to wait until April 1 to turkey hunt. I hava about shot the crap out of my target. I am ready to kill something that I actually have to use some brains to find.

Oh yeah, nice avatar HoytMT2332, I have the same one.
