Hey guys, there is a drawing to win a free youth turkey hunt this spring here in Missouri, Gasconade County. Its $5 to enter the drawing and the hunt will be for both days of the youth turkey season, and Im pretty sure lodging is included. It is for youths age 8-15. WOW!! Im really surprised no one is interested in this, If I were in that age, or had a kid in that age group, Id be all over this, it really is a great opportunity to take a youth on a good private land turkey hunt with some great people. It is for real, and not some kind of scam. Check it out.

two years ago id have tried to sign up twice.

That is the ONLY thing bad about bein 17, no more youth weekends.

i live around owensville when i am not in school and have not heard anyhthing like that. i am to old any way.

This is the second year for the youth shoot, and the date has just been set, there will be some advertising going on locally for the shoot, the hunt is with a member who has some good private ground with lots of good turkey hunting on it. We were going to give the hunt away at the youth shoot, but it is after turkey season,, May 17, so were raffling off a hunt before, and there may be another hunt or two given away at the youth event. I'd enter my son, but Missouri does not allow non-resident youths to hunt in the special youth season. If they would let him hunt the regular season if he won....I'd sign him up!
