Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Need Advice for Tennessee

Posted this in the regional forum, too. Am thinking about a public land spring hunt in Tennessee and would appreciate any advice regarding best regions and WMA's that have good flocks but are not overrun with hunters (just like everybody else wants )

Thanks!

Tenn. portion of L.B.L about 10,000 a. lots of turkeys and hunters but large enough area so you can usually find yourself a spot.

All the turkeys are on the Kentucky portion of LBL though.

Try finding someone who will let you hunt private land, in Tennesee. That might just be the way to go, of course, getting a hunt will be the challenge, but you might be able to pull it off.

AEDC wma has 32,000 huntable acres with weekend hunts only(actually like fri-sun). There is no quota but you do have to sign in before you hunt and they usually have between 200-300 to sign up. Not sure where you were planning on hunting but this is located in southern middle TN.
