For your help on chosing my gun. I took my 1300 out and shot it today. Being used, I cleaned it real well. I only shot it 5 times as I don't have any good targets and my scope base hasn't come yet. I shot it once at 45 yards and put about 25 #5 in a 8x12 spot target. At 25 yards, it ate the target up so I am very happy so far. Don

Concrats Don I hope you like it. I own one very similar to yours. I am still using the extrafull turkey choke that came from the factory ( The Non Ported one) It shoots pretty well with this one. I have used Remington duplex 4x6's out of it and have been pleased. But plan on getting an undertaker tube soon. I had some trouble when I bought it with federal ammo in it. When I shot it the little claw on the bolt would pull right through the base of the shell and leave it stuck in the chamber. I never had this happen with other brands. I would love to hear if this happens to you if you decide to try out federal shells in it. Good luck and shoot straight.

Don - make sure you pattern it in close too... Lots of shots are missed because the pattern in close is so tight, it all misses<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Sounds like you got yourself a good turkey getter.

maytom, I'm shooting the tube that came with it. As you know, it was used when I got it. The tube is not ported but extended about 2". It says on the side "lead shot only .665". I am going to order the undertaker in .665 in the very near future. Don

Hey Don, just an opinion, but sounds like you're getting a good pattern as is, maybe save the money you'ld spend on the Undertaker and ...buy more calls. Just a thought. Sounds like you made a good purchase....congrats.
