Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Kent Diamond Shot

Been hearing all the talk about Heavy Shot, but nobody knows Kent makes these shells. Has anybody tried Kent Diamond Shot?

I have heard Kent's turkey loads are pretty good. I've been meaning to order some to try at the range. Their "diamond shot" though is not Hevi-Shot or Tungsten. It's a lead pellet. They do make a Tungsten load (or did) I can't seem to find it on their webpage. They do have the waterfowl and upland game Tungsten loads listed though.

Yes, I have tried some and was impressed. Here is a pic of their 3" 2oz #4 turkey loads shot at 40 yds.

That's a pretty good pattern there Maytom. Which gun did you shoot that with?

Ken, that was with my 1300 and the Tru-Glo choke tube. For #4's, that was a nice even pattern I thought. I could never get #4's to pattern worth a hoot!!
