Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

No i haven't but i used to have the Ol' Yeller (which i think was the predecessor to the Yella Hammer) and liked it a lot, but i loaned it to a younger brother one day who forgot his vest with his calls and i ended up never seeing it again haha.

I own a Yella Hammer. Can't remember what I gave for it, but I'm pretty cheap. If it was more than $20 I would be very surprised. I use a crystal Freak slate call that I have had for some time, and I just can't replace it. I'm real comfortable with it, so I haven't given the Hammer much of a chance.

I have the Yellow Hammer and it sounds pretty good for a field grade call. I am pretty impressed with the Slatek ceramic surface. If I can locate the Slatek ceramic material, I plan on making a custom call with it.
