Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default choke tubes

so after a lot of research debating and looking around i bought a benelli super nova and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with what choke tube to get with this gun. Right now i purchased federal lead shot3 inch 2oz # 5 and i'm also trying out remington nitro turkey ammo 3 inch 1 7/8 oz number 5 shot. This is for my 12 gauge. Please help me out...I was looking at the H.S. strut undertaker choke tube, but at 20 bucks i feel that it may not be as good as i had hoped.

Default RE: choke tubes

That HS tube should work. I use that brand in my Winchester 1300 20 ga, it is .572" constriction, used to have one for the Win 1300 12 ga too but gave that to my nephew when he started turkey hunting. In the 12 ga I used the .665" constriction. Right now the Win 1300 12 ga has a Tru Glow ported tube .665" and the White muzzleloader 12 ga has a Hastings II .665" extended tube. I think the constriction is more important than the maker. Comp n Choke is suposed to be a good brand but I have not owned one.
