We've had a few days of 62degree weather and the forecast is for nice weather all week. The almond trees are starting to explode everywhere!I've noticed that some of the mature gobblers are also starting to show up around the younger flocks too!Best part though is one of my huntin partners called me today and told me he heard a group of toms gobble a dozen times yesterday morning!!54 more days to scout and get ready!Come on baby!!!!

Rob you need a different window to look out of . This is all I see out of mine
I do notice more of the big toms are starting to do a little strutting and I hear a lot of gobbling at flydown .It won't be long now . I took this photo yesterday I was trying to get one flying but its to fast for the digital .
You guys are killing me. Or, more acurately, the weather here is. I bet the wind chill is about 20 below here today. (maybe not, but close) I got another 2 months before our FIRST season opens and 3 months til mine does.
BobG this pic was taken right at dark so I'm sorry about the quality of the photo but you are right it won't be long .Just hope its not too early again this year
Great pic Halcon!!I took the first 3 weeks off with my guiding and all so I hope I made the right decision!Birds are still in there winter groups here but the toms are definately showing up out of the woodwork into these areas where the younger birds and hens are!I see some nice full fans in that group!!!Very
