who didnt make a kill this season? i continue to get better and better and closer and closer each year, but no luck this year. who else didnt officially "score"?
I had several opportunities at jakes and small birds, several mature birds within range, but because I decided to hunt only with my bow and without a blind the majority of the time, I limited my chances of connecting.

im with washington hunter. i took the bow all season and hunted with no blind. got busted by 2 toms, and i dont bother with jakes. i did call in or film 4 toms tho.. one with 4 beards! the longest of the beards was about 10.5 and the shortest was about 3.5 or 4. i wished sooooo bad i had got that one for my thunder chickens... i left them hangin this season. i never figured up his score but i would bet it would be one of if not THE highest scoring bird this season.
I got skunked also, my fault for not scouting a back-up property.
Last year was easy, tagged out with two longbeards long before season ended, I was cocky this year and didn't figure on the birds just not being there. I blame the corn stubble instead of soy.
