Default Blodgett Striker

Anyone know where I could still buy a Blodgett Striker? I'm looking for one of the laminated ones with the multi-colored wood and the flared tip. Gander Mt. used to sell them a few years back, but I can't seem to find them anywhere...even online??? Thanks!

Well, he's not making calls anymore, for a couple years nowI believe. There used to be some of his stuff on ebay, I haven't looked recently. I have one myself, and it's my favorite striker. But if I was looking for a good laminate/flared tip striker, I'd look at the midwest turkey call website. There are some other companies that make them too.

I looked on their website, but they don't list any prices or ordering information. The strikers definitely look similar to the Blodgetts though.

Sigh!!!!! I'm not the only one in this boat. I lost my Blodgett striker last year too and I am bummed. It is/was my favorite call. I picked up a Primos laminated striker with a mushroom shaped tip......but it just don't sound the same to me. I don't know what it is. I will have to check out the lostrivergamecalls website myself. If anyone finds any, please pm me and I'll do the same.

It is too bad they still don't make Blodgettt Calls, because they sound amazing!!

I read on the NWTF website forum that he will have a product line back out in '08. Don't know how true it is though, I haven't been able to find any info on it myself other than that post.

Best striker I ever had was a Blodgett mushroom tipped tulipwood. I lost mine and have never found its match either. It would play on any call.

I've run the Lost River mushroom tips, all of them matter of fact theres a couple in my desk right here right now. They run well are balanced nicely and I like em. I hunted with Dave in Oklahoma this year. Well he hunted mostly I filmed for him. You'll have to watch the show for the ending but we pulled a big hard pressured gobbler a long ways to the gun and camera. I called in two big ole Rios with their stuff for myself. The calls definately met the acid test in the field.

Dave and Jody are bothreal friendly and have a solid business plan based on some excellent priced quality turkey gear. I think they have a pretty strong grunt call following growing up around em too. I have one and its definately not the same old same old.

Dad's also has some great mushroom tips, they are a little thinner but fairly equally balanced and play excellent. The tulip wood and Osage are my personal favorites. Tulip wood all around and osage on crystal .
